The leather covered buttons are cute.
It can be worn high-waisted, so you can pair it with a cropped top or wear a shirt or knit tucked in.

There is a 3cm difference in waist and hips between S and M.
If you would like a longer length, choose the M size. This will lower the center of gravity of the culottes and allow you to wear them with a slightly longer length.
